The 2019 Show
Many thanks to everyone who helped make the 47th Kilmacanogue District Horse Show such a success. In particular many thanks to Syl Bourke and Mary Fenelon Bourke for the use of their fields; to everyone who helped set up the show field and equally those who helped clear it and leave it the way we found it!
Many thanks to the car-park stewards; the gate men; all who helped in the Sheep classes; the people who came along to give pony rides; all who helped in the rings; the stewards and judges; our safety stewards; the stewards in the entry marquees and the ladies in the catering marquee.
Thank you to all who came along to compete in the many and varied classes; this year the sun shone and some classes ran until after 7pm (we will improve scheduling for next year!) indicating the strong support from the riding community.
Lastly a major thanks to all our sponsors both new and those who have supported the show for many years. This year we donated €12000 to local charities, the presentations were made at the Summerhill Hotel in OCt 2019.
