KILMACANOGUE SHOW 2021
Despite the soft day and the restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still had a wonderful day at the Kilmacanogue Show. Thanks to Mary and Syl who once again hosted the show, to all the stewards who volunteered and of course all the participants. We were delighted to distribute €7400 to local charities, many thanks to all our sponsors and those who contributed on the day.

What is the Kilmacanogue Horse Show all about?
The Kilmacanogue show is a great local instituition. It welcomes competitors of all abilities and has a great following amongst the local riding schools and clubs. The show is run by volunteers and all proceeds raised are awarded to local charities in our community. Due to Covid 19, the 2021 show was limited to competitors and grooms, however we still raised €7400, to support many charities. (Supported in 2021 - Charabanc Enniskerry, Enniskerry Playground Fund, Irish Kidney Association, Kilmacanogue Senior Citizens, Kilmacanogue GAA, Lakers, Newcourt School Bray, Open Door Bray, Purple House Cancer Support, Wicklow Dementia Support, Wicklow Hospice, Riding for the Disabled). We look forward to welcoming back spectators and trade stands for our 50th Anniversary show in 2022.
The 2020 Show
2020 was a year with a difference, as was the 48th Kilmacanogue Show. A big thank you to all who entered the Virtual Kilmacanogue Show. The 2020 judges had a difficult time coming to a descision and would like to compliment all the competitors. All the entries can be viewed at 2020 Virtual Gallery
The committee would like to extend a huge thank you to the many supporters and sponsors who continued to support the show in its virtual guise. This support from the community allowed the show to donate €6000, to local charities in 2020.
2021 ?????
Things are looking up! From the 5th July, 200 people can attend an outdoor event. Kilmacanogue Show would need this number to increase to 500 or more to run the show. Therefore we have rescheduled to the 14th Aug, in the expectation that further relaxation on the numbers at outdoor events will have occurred by August.
